Three, Two, One

Talk about 3 things you've learned this week. How can they impact learning in your classroom.

Learned

1) I have learned how to create a blog. This could help me communicate with my students and their parents more effectively.

2) I learned how to make a project and trailer in iMovie. I think this will be great to preview novels and other in-class projects.

3) I learned to always shoot video in landscape. Simple idea, but I needed to learn this so that my videos can be the best they can be.

 

Share

1) I would share that is was worth a few days of summer to learn the new things I learned in this class.

2) I would share that technology is not as hard as many people think and that it can be quite effective with students.

 

Suggestion

1) I would have written (printed) tutorials for some of the more technical things we learned (iMovie, how to take over the Apple TV, etc.). I can see where many people will not remember all of the steps involved and may choose not to try than to navigate confusing "help" lists.
